The Ruapehu Hauora Trust is a Charitable Trust that exists to see the flourishing of those that are privileged to call Ruapehu their home. When we talk about flourishing we are talking about the process in which an individual becomes magnificently themselves in a holistic way. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually.

With the gift of living here comes challenges. In particular there are incredible challenges around access to opportunities around involvement in activities for the regions tamariki and rangatahi. We endeavour as a trust to either provide access to these activities or run these activities ourselves. 

Currently we are collaborating with and running and following activities:
Ruapehu United Football. Ruapehu Cricket Club. Kāhui Maunga Basketball League.

We collaborate with and run these events because we know that these activities don’t just provide opportunities to run around. They provide opportunities to learn. To learn how to be a part of a team. To learn how to succeed. To learn how to fail. To learn how to be human.
